Facilities

At our family owned facility, we cater to the same hunters year after year. We have employees who enjoy making our customers feel at home so they want to return again and again.

Come and be our guest. Our goal is to show you an exciting and productive hunt. One that is sporting in the best sense of the word.

Our facilities are available for the following activities: Hunting - Chukar, Partridge, and Pheasants, Sporting Clays, and European Shoots.

Martz's Gap View Hunting Preserve offers many extras:

1350 acres of beautiful prime pheasant hunting habitat.
We offer both daily and membership hunting.
Overnight accommodations for up to 18 hunters are available at our two hunting lodges.
Pheasants can be professionally cleaned and packaged.
7 months of pheasant hunting beginning September 13, 2008.
We are closed on Sunday's and Christmas Day.
Reservations are required for all hunting.
Hunters may bring their own dog or trained dogs and dog handlers are available by advance notice.
250 square inches of fluorescent orange must be worn on the head, chest and back combined.
Gift certificates (Hunting and sporting clays).
Smoked pheasants for sale. (The perfect gift at the holidays).
Special arrangements can be made for large groups, corporations or clubs.
Upon request documentation of a Hunter's Safety Course from any state, or a hunting license.

BIRD CLEANING:
Your birds can be professionally cleaned for you so you can return home with an appetizing "poultry counter pretty" package of game. Birds can be cleaned from 10:00A.M. until 5:00P.M. of every hunting day. Styrofoam coolers - $4.00. Bagged ice - FREE.

DOGS AND DOG HANDLERS:
We have dogs and dog handlers available for those who want them. Hunters may bring their own dog providing the dog is well-trained and kept under control.

LODGING:

We have two lodges available for overnight accommodations

Hestor Lodge - Overnight accommodations are available for 1-12 hunters. The lodge is located on one of our pheasant hunting farms and is equipped with 11/2 baths, full kitchen (including microwave), washer/dryer, TV and telephone. Linens are provided.

Rates:
1 hunter - $90.00/night plus tax.
2 hunters - $45.00/night plus tax.
3-6 hunters - $40.00/night plus tax.

Clubhouse Lodge - Overnight accommodations are available for 1-6 people. Efficiency kitchen includes a small stove, small refrigerator, toaster, coffee pot, full bath and phone. Linens are provided. Lodge is located above the Clubhouse office.
(Same rates as for Hestor Lodge.)

CHECK IN TIME - 6:00 P.M. CHECK OUT TIME - 2:00 P.M.
1 NIGHTS DEPOSIT REQUIRED - $115.00 (non-refundable).
$25.00 Processing fee on all cancellations for lodging, $90.00 transferable.
